Cool Clothes to Keep You Warm This Winter
October is almost over (bummer!), which means that Winter is Coming (as our good friend Ned Stark would say)! Since I grew up in Michigan, I am personally a huge fan of layers, and I have knit myself approximately 30 shawls in various weights and lengths to be ready for anything once it drops below 60 degrees. I also love me a cozy jacket and boots, and of course, beanies! If you’re getting ready to layer it up for the colder weather that’s on it’s way, read on!
As a knitter, I generally tend to buy things that I am able to make myself, but these hats keep drawing me in! I’m all about those sparkles! This beanie features sparkly sequined accents to add a hint of glitter to your every day fall and winter wardrobe. It’s made with a classic ribbed design that looks amazing and keeps you warm! It also has the authentic C.C leather tag so everyone will know how cool you are! We have other hat options here, too!
An electric vest?! What will they come up with next?! This Electric Heated Vest is made from nano fabric with lightweight carbon fiber heating material to empower quick smooth warming within 3 seconds. The collar and back of this vest are also heated! Two carbon-fiber heat zones provide fully adjustable heating comfort, all at the touch of a button. The thermostat switch is easy to use – high, medium, and low are indicated by a color coded LED, and a warming feature and safety shut off are built right in. I think I could warm up to one of these, don’t you?
I am constantly irritated by the fact that I can’t operate my smartphone in the winter when I have gloves or mittens on, but fortunately for you and me, they now make gloves like this so we can still be active on social media while keeping our hands warm! Fashion meets function with these warm, comfortable, Winter Touch Anti-Slip Touch-Screen Gloves. Winter Touch combines 3-fingers for touchscreen capability with third-generation silicone non-slip palm grips to ensure your hands stay warm without interrupting your screen time! If you’d like to check out other gloves & mittens, check this out!
I am a firm believer in the fact that a bomber jacket can totally make anyone look cool, even as they keep you warm! This bomber jacket features a full zip closure with faux leather trim, full contrast orange lining, as well as ribbed knit collar, cuffs, and hem. It’s water-resistant and has two front snap pockets and two interior pockets. I love a jacket with a lot of pockets because really, carrying a bag around all the time can just be so cumbersome. There is also a pen and tool arm pocket - so many pockets!
These jackets seem to be all the rage in Seattle - I swear I must be the only one who doesn’t have one yet out here! This one is made of great quality fabric for a comfortable, stylish, and breathable wear. Ultra light and thin, it is easy to pack when traveling and ideal for active use (which is probably why it’s so popular out here - all these mountains!). It has a silhouette design with a regular-fit, a hood with a detachable fur trim, 2-side zipper pockets, 1 chest pocket (yay pockets!), and elasticized sleeve cuffs. The shell and fill is made from 100% polyester, the lining from 100% nylon. This jacket will keep you warm during the chilly fall and winter months no matter what you’re doing! Take a look at our jacket collection for more options!
I’m not sure if you’ve gotten the memo about how much i love a good scarf/shawl yet, but I’ll say it again: they are BOMB. So versatile that you can wear it any you want with any outfit! I knit a ton of scarves/shawls, but every once in a great while I like someone else to do the work for me, which is when I turn to these beauties! As soft as a baby blanket, the Chenille CC Infinity Scarves are the newest and cutest ever infinity scarf! It will keep you cozy and warm while you enjoy all of your cold weather activities this winter season. There are so many ways to wear it; around your neck in a single layer, double loop, one loop, around your waist, shawl, shrug, find your favorite. You can pair it with a CC Beanie for extra style and warmth, and with jeans and a sweater for both comfort and style!
