Inspiration For Your 2020 Summer Vacation
Hooray, it’s officially summer! Even though we will have to find creative ways to enjoy it this year, the longer days, all that sunshine, and being able to get outside will be so refreshing! Being from Washington, I’m personally enjoying the lack of pouring rain on my morning walks, and my houseplants are thriving from all the sun! Read on to get some summer vacation inspiration!
Beach Probably the first thing we think of when summer arrives is beaches, or even pools, if you’re lucky enough to have one! Your most important accessory for water adventures is a swimsuit! From mermaid tails to tankinis to one pieces to swim trunks, we have what you need to be stylish & comfortable next time you jump in the water. And of course you can’t go swimming without a trusty beach towel! Protect your eyes from the sun while looking cool with a pair of awesome shades! If you have sensitive skin or just want to look like a fashionista, then this 70% off sun hat is just for you, and comes in 4 different designs. Now you’re stylin’ poolside, but don’t forget the sunscreen!
Camping A summer family favorite for us was always camping! Although, camping for us meant our pop up camper instead of a tent! We still always had a lot of fun, sitting around a campfire, maybe listening to music (although that’s much easier these days with portable speakers), and just enjoying time as a family, including our dog! I always dreamed about having a hammock to relax and read in, but I figure my parents knew we would all fight over it! My mom has always been a great cook and we never left on a trip without our handy dandy George Foreman grill. And now they make coolers to hold your food and drinks that double as Bluetooth speakers! How cool is that?!
Travel Summer vacation is always a good time to travel with the family! Pack up your bag (this duffel comes with a built-in clothes rack!), pack up the car, and off you go! We have all kinds of luggage for everyone in your family, including these adorable Star Wars backpacks for the kids (or the kids at heart)! We used to take long car rides to see my grandparents when we were kids, and I always managed to fall asleep so it was helpful to have a soft seatbelt cushion to lean on. It would have also been helpful to have one of these organizational pockets in our car because my sisters and I always brought so many toys to entertain ourselves. And if you’re bringing the doggo, don’t leave without this washable car seat cover. Safe travels!
Backyard Fun If “staycation” is the name of the game for you this summer, we still have plenty of fun stuff for you in your outdoor space! With more people spending their time at home, patio furniture is all the rage! Entertain a few close friends with this dining set, relax with your significant other in these matching rocking chairs, or simply lounge by the fire with these wooden benches! If gardening is your thing, check out these awesome gardening gloves and raised planters for all your flowers and vegetables. And for the kids, this giant lawn game or basketball hoop!
Whatever your plans are this summer, stay safe, have fun, and enjoy it as much as you can!
