Five Items To Help Organize Your Home
It’s feeling very spring-y out there (at least in Seattle) and it is helping me get motivated for some much needed spring cleaning. We talked a bit about that in last week’s blog, but this week we are gonna take a look at a few nifty products that can help keep you organized; at least until next year!
7-Piece Airtight Food Storage Container Set
One of the best things I ever did for my cupboards was organize them in matching see-through containers with cute little labels on them. I have a rather extensive loose leaf tea collection, and having them all visible with their pretty colors showing is quite satisfying. If you’re looking to get your cupboards under control in the same way, then this container set is just what you need. They even come with fancy little labels so you can easily grab whatever you need, while making your cupboard classy at the same time!
Innovative Living Adjustable Space-Saving Stackable Shoe Tower
I have a lot of shoes, but what I have is nothing to what some of my friends boast. I can mostly get away with just throwing mine all in my closet, but I’m starting to think I need to actually get a fancy organizer like this one since I am constantly misplacing shoes due to them not having a set space (or my dog mistaking it for a toy). This stackable show tower will save lots of floor space, and has lots of room for all those shoes that you’ll be able to wear into the world again soon!
64-inch Adjustable Garage Tool Organizer
Our garage growing up was always full of my dad’s tools rather than cars, as he was something of a carpenter. He definitely could have used some organizing assistance such as this garage tool organizer, which is adjustable so all your tools have plenty of their own space. Alternatively, I could definitely see this being used for all the shawls that I knit, or maybe my gardening tools, so feel free to think outside the box with this one!
Kitchen Sink Suction Cup Storage Basket
This may seem like a little thing, but could actually be quite handy for all the random items that collect around any of your sinks. It just wraps right around your sink faucet or can chill on your counter and BOOM organized. And they are easy to clean, which is always a bonus!
Multifunctional Wooden Rolling Plant Rack
Spending the last year mostly confined to our homes has done a lot for the houseplant business. I had started a few years before with a cute little dragon tree I found at IKEA, but my obsession really picked up during the pandemic once the shops all started shipping plants - definitely my downfall. After the 10th or 20th plant though, I decided that I should actually invest in some plant stands to put all these beauties and other little trinkets on. They help organize all your plants as well as make your house look more put together, and I highly recommend one like this - even if you don’t have enough plants to fill all these shelves, that just gives you an excuse to buy more! Or, alternately, you could buy two of these stands to hold all of the plants you simply couldn’t resist in the last year….
So get a few handy-dandy organization tools and declutter your house this spring!
